I've always loved helping people and I have a big heart for the elderly and disabled. I have worked with people who had dementia , ataxia , Alzheimer's, hospice, people who were bedridden, I've worked with people who were on feeding tubes , who needed catheters .. I have had a lot of experience doing didn't things with different forms of diabetes. I love learning new ways of doing things . Everyone is different so no client is the same . Amanda came to care for my Dad 1 hour a night to prepare him for bed although she was ready to stay longer if needed. She also was willing to help with household chores while my family was focused on attending to Dad during his final days and hours. Dad was bedbound and Amanda was experienced in changing, dressing, bathing in the hospital bed gently, all the while teaching my siblings and I how to care for Dad. She is personable and compassionate.
