About Amani

I'd describe my personality as nurturing, vibrant and patient. I like working with kids because it's a blessed feeling/opportunity to see kids grow in a positive environment . I like to be able to see children accumulate what they've learned from those around them. I'm looking for a job for new opportunities and techniques to better care kids. I started working with kids when I was 13. I started as a live-in, live-out nanny with an infant boy who is now 8 years old, along with his siblings. In my spare time, I like to do arts and crafts! I am artsy which is great because kids love being imaginative and creative! I like to exercise. I love being outdoors. I am currently in college pursuing early childhood education. One thing you should know about me is I am a nurturing person. My nurture and communication skills help me understand, validate and teach children new skills in order for and growth. My skills include emotional regulation, conflict management and communication.
