About Amber

Hello! My name is Amber, and I've spent over 10 years in nonprofit leadership and education-focused roles, most recently as the Development Manager at a vegan farmed animal sanctuary. In the last three years alone, I've mentored and graduated more than 20 interns through the sanctuary's program, and I truly enjoy working with young adults as they grow their skills and confidence. I bring patience, creativity, and a flexible teaching style that adapts to each student's unique way of learning. I can support general academics, study skills, organization, and technology. I also introduce students to ethical, practical uses of AI and digital tools that make studying, writing, and problem-solving easier and more effective. Because I understand what it's like to learn differently, I'm especially attuned to students who benefit from extra support in focus, planning, or confidence.
