About Amirah

Hi! My name is Amirah, and I am passionate about working with kids and supporting their growth & development. I have volunteered in a second grade classroom at HB Elementary for the past 3 years, helping students learn, stay engaged, and provide support. I am also a part of a STEM program at Fresno State, working in after-school programs to foster STEM learning & hands-on activities. I currently hold my Associate's degree in Elementary Education and will graduate in May with my Bachelor's in Liberal Studies with highest honors. I have experience caring for children from 5 months to 11 years old, including twins during their first year. I also bring my art bag on occasion to help create an active engaging environment that supports not only the child's interest but learning as well. I am easygoing, reliable, and very accommodating to each family's needs. I have my own transportation and I am happy to help with errands. I strive to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment.
