About Amirah

I like tutoring because I want to help students feel accommodated based on their learning styles. It's so easy for us to misunderstand things when it's not prioritized in the way we understand it and I want to be that safe for students to learn and apply their knowledge outside of school settings. I'm looking for a job that is challenging and rewarding at the same time! I want to be able to learn new ways to better myself as an educator and caregiver I started tutoring when I was in high school as a curriculum leader for the following courses: Cornerstone, Journalism and Sociology. However, I expanded in this area when I became certified to tutor in college. I currently work as a writing tutor for college students who need assistance with creative writing, essays, personal statements and more!
