About Amy

I'm an open-hearted, agreeable person, and a fun, creative caregiver. I'm a 58 yr old mom with years of experience loving on children. I homeschooled our 6 children, and taught in our coop for many years. I was a career nanny until we began our own family. My approach to childcare is rooted in nurturing. I believe every child is special. I build a trusting relationship by affirming & getting to know them. Children trust me quickly and easily. I believe in patience, calmness, light heartedness, while also being their leader so they can feel secure. I enjoy going on walks or taking the children to the park. I love pool and water activities if there is access to a pool and if it's age appropriate. (I have taught many children how to swim.) I do light housekeeping, keep the kitchen clean, organize children's areas, and do their laundry if you'd like. Thank you for your time and consideration.
