About Amy

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Children and Families from Eastern Michigan University and an Associate's degree in Child Development. I am also currently working toward my Waldorf Teacher Training certificate, which deepens my commitment to nurturing the whole child through developmentally appropriate and creative learning methods. I have over five years of experience working with children ages 3 to 10 in both classroom and one-on-one settings, including early childhood programs, private tutoring, and family support. My approach combines developmental understanding with play-based strategies that support confidence, curiosity, and a love of reading. I've worked with children from a wide range of backgrounds and I adapt each session to meet the individual needs of the child.
