About Amy

My journey into caregiving stems from a deep desire to support families during challenging times. Inspired by positive hospice experiences with my own family, I'm now a hospice volunteer, working towards becoming an end-of-life doula. I offer respite care, errands and shopping assistance, and light housekeeping. I don't mind cooking a meal here or there, however, my cooking skills are limited . With CPR training and some college experience, I have a little bit of experience, handling confusion, agitation, and behavioral changes, due to caring for my own father before he passed. I prioritize understanding a care recipient's preferences and history to build a strong connection. I also respect family communication preferences regarding their loved one's well-being. My personality is patient, calm, compassionate, friendly, and approachable. I'm eager to bring my dedication and skills to your family, providing compassionate care with a personal touch.
