About Amy

I've been working with kids for 10+ years, finding my love for the field when I was in high school teaching preschool gymnastics at the YMCA. I've worked with children as a nanny, in daycares, preschools, early learning centers, and elementary schools when I got my Bachelor's Degree in early childhood education with a focus on special education. I've been working in the corporate world for several years now, but love to babysit or nanny whenever I'm able to. I'm a big believer in play-based learning, spending time outdoors, creating art, and practicing life skills in a fun way. Catch me doing freeze-dance toy pick up and cleaning as we go when playing in different areas of the house. I have extensive experience working with infants from as young as 6 weeks old, as well as SPED and autistic kids 1-10 years old. I am comfortable with pets and CPR certified.
