I have worked for over 15 years caring for my elder clients , neighbors and friends(one was a veteran) I provided transportation to appointments- relayed info to the families and managed their medication. Amy was a professional caregiver for my wife, Mary, during the last three years of her life. She was great companion for Mary, who was in mental and physical decline due to advanced dementia. She brought an activity board and simple books with pictures, and she encouraged her to draw with crayons. Mary did not speak, yet Amy talked to her, always hoping to elicit a response. Amy checked daily for any signs of physical deterioration and worked to make her as comfortable as possible. I am extremely glad to have found Amy.
