Welcome to my Bio; if there is anything that I can help you with, please reach out. I am available for short term care, days, evenings, overnights or even sick kiddos. I do split time between Raleigh NC and Cape Canaveral Florida. I am currently home basing in Raleigh through February 2026. I have babysat & nannied in various locations in Brevard County FL as well as Wake County NC caring for children from newborn to 12 years. I have also taught preschool and then owned a licensed home daycare which was in business for 8 years when my children were young. I encourage educational activities, indoor and outdoor play. I am not a fan of television and I would prefer to limit all other non educational screen time unless otherwise advised. I love outings and would love to help with your little ones or take them on my own. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Amy! I was out of town for several days, and leaving my children in someone else's care for that long was a big step for me. Mrs. Amy went above and beyond to ease my mind and take exceptional care of my kids. From the start, she kept me updated regularly, providing thoughtful check-ins, and summaries of how the day went. It was clear that she was not only attentive but truly invested in their well-being. What impressed me most was the creative, engaging activities she planned; none of which involved screens. She kept the kids active with crafts, games, and they’re still talking about how much fun they had playing with her! It was such a gift to see them so engaged, happy, and balanced when I returned. Amy gave me such peace of mind knowing they were in capable and compassionate hands. Highly, highly recommend Amy!
