Hi! I am a retired special education teacher experienced in helping children develop strategies to improve their success at school. I'd describe my personality as kind, empathetic and patient. I like tutoring because I enjoy helping children reach their full potential. I'm looking for a job that will work with my current schedule and will be beneficial to my students. I started tutoring when I was in graduate school over 20 years ago. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my adult children, animals and being outside. I also love to read, cook and enjoy many sports. One thing you should know about me is I am very reliable, discreet and trustworthy. I have very strong morals and am disciplined in my approach to education and work. My skills include study skills, test prep, organization and strategies for improving reading comprehension.
