I am a grad student studying occupational therapy. I have a lot of book knowledge about seniors, know how to do transfers and help with ADLs, but have not spent much time in this area. I have lots of experience caring for children, and can give references upon request. I am compassionate, patient, considerate, and dependable. I keep a conversation with a brick wall, or be more quiet and observant, depending on the preferences and needs of the individual. I will naturally be looking for ways to adapt the environment in order to increase independence, because that is what I've been trained to do..
