I hold my substitute teaching certificate with the Arizona Department of Education along with fingerprint clearance card. My experience includes homeschooling my son who has ADHD and dyslexia from 2nd-5th grade and tutoring children I nannied for ranging in ages from 6-10 years of age. As a professional musician turned music instructor I've given private lessons in piano, voice, guitar, and bass guitar to those ranging in age from 3 yrs. to 67 yrs. Previous employers include Guitar Center Studios and Kirk's Studio for the Performing Arts. I tailor curriculum (or work within the confines of present curriculum) adjusting to meet the needs of each student while providing an encouraging and positive experience! I'm happy to include social/emotional skills and life skills such as health and hygiene into my time with your child or children if that is something you'd prefer.
