About Anaya

I began my experience in healthcare at the age of 14 by providing daily care for my grandparents, which built a strong foundation in compassion, responsibility, and hands-on support. At 18, I became a licensed home health aide and expanded my experience across a variety of care settings, including memory care facilities, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and hospice care. I have worked extensively with dementia and hospice patients, providing assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding (including feeding tubes), meal preparation, housekeeping, medication assistance, and accompanying clients to doctor's appointments. Through these roles, I have developed strong skills in patient-centered care, adaptability, and maintaining dignity, safety, and comfort for individuals with complex medical and emotional needs. I am now continuing to expand my clinical knowledge and hands-on experience as a current nursing student.
