I moved from Montana where I owned and operated an in-home 24 hour family group childcare. After 20+ years, I was ready for a change. I packed and moved to the Portland area. Soon I was working as a nanny for a family of 5. They were a blast! I then met a family with a newborn that was looking for a flexible, organized, passionate, understanding, experienced nanny. I knew I fit the bill! This family has a dog and three cats. I'm very comfortable with pets. I gained additional families needing backup care, date night care, last minute care, sick care and emergency care. I can do it all. Im currently working for Doctors with a busy schedule. They have one child in preschool and the second child will be starting preschool in fall 2024. My hours will be changing leaving me with a 5 hour window (9a-2p) to help someone else. I interviewed Angela by telephone as a prospective nanny for my complex family; two kids, one with special needs, co-parented by divorced parents. Angela was very easy to talk to and I could sense that she is mature, experienced, and professional. I also checked some of Angela's references, and they were glowing. We were unable to hire Angela for independent reasons, but I know that if we find ourselves looking to hire a nanny again, I will reach out to Angela.
