About Anika

Due to the fact that my mother owns an in home daycare, I grew up highly exposed to the childcare environment and found myself wanting to get involved and help from a very young age. As I grew up I continued my involvement helping around the daycare and the older I got the more responsibilities I was able to take on until I eventually became a full-time employee. As well as assisting my mother in the daycare setting, I also began offering my own services to parents enabling them to go on date nights while ensuring trusted childcare. Since moving to Oregon I have taken on other job opportunities outside of childcare, which have provided great learning experiences. On the other hand, I have found myself missing being able to work with kids. I feel childcare is not only something that comes very naturally to me but it also truly uplifts me knowing I'm making some kind of difference in this world by helping support families as well as helping their children learn and grow as beings.
