About Anna

Hi! I'm a graduate student in Children's Literature and Library Science. Ever since my teen years I've been working to help kids learn, whether as an instructor at a creative-writing summer camp, a babysitter encouraging my charge's love for art and reading, or a library worker helping little ones pursue the library's summer reading program. I'm eager to jump back into working with kids as I help them through academic areas of struggle and cheer on their successes. I have an expert grasp on English literature, language, and grammar. I'm also proficient in Spanish and Italian, and would love to support your child's efforts to learn either language. I can also help with elementary- and middle-school math; having struggled in that area myself during my childhood, I'm familiar with all sorts of tips, tricks, and changes in perspective that can help clarify new and confusing concepts.
