About Annabelle

I am a certified teacher in grades Pre-K through 6th, Special Education, and 7-12 ELA. I have taught for 6 years in the public and private school systems while also being nanny to a couple of families. I have currently left teaching because of the constraints STAAR puts on an educator's career. I'm passionate about people and teaching; not being micromanaged every single day. There's a difference in the quality of care you receive from a person who actually is passionate and loves what they do versus someone that views it as opportunity to make some money. I love kids and I love seeing kids succeed. I am still in touch with every family that I have had the opportunity to work for and have built bonds with.

We hired Annabelle on board to help with behavioral issues for our son and as a household assistant as she was more mature and dependable than other younger nannies we had worked with. We loved that she planned such fun geocaching adventures and also came up with creative lesson plans to extend and supplement the work in the classroom. Great communication, great demeanor, extremely patient and great with pets as well!
