Hi, I'm Anna! Here is a little about me and my experience: I have babysat, worked as a nanny (including drop offs and overnights) and taught children as a dance/movement teacher for the past 7 years. I have experience with children ranging from 2 months to 17 years (varying group sizes/dynamics), including children with special needs (ADHD, ASD, severe allergies). I am a recent graduate of UNCG, studying in a pre professional theatre program, as well as earning a history degree. I have always loved kids, and I really enjoy being a small part of their development - having the opportunity to expose them to the arts, including dance, music, and theatre, especially. Other than that, I love movies, love to read, and I love being outside! I go with the flow, and I'm never one to turn down an adventure hike, spontaneous dance party, or Karaoke battle. Anna has been part of our family for the past year and a half, caring for our autistic son since he was just two. She’s with us several days a week and often babysat in the evenings too. In that time she’s done everything—games, crafts, pretend play, singing songs, trips to the park and play gyms, and even working on letters, numbers, shapes, and animals. She’s handled meals, bath time, naps, and bedtime with ease, always bringing patience, calm, and a fun, creative energy. She knows when to let our son lead the way and when to set up something new and exciting to keep him engaged. Most importantly, our son absolutely adores her—he lights up the moment she walks in the door. She’s never once been late or missed a day, and her reliability is unmatched. Anna has been such a gift to us, and we will miss her terribly. Truly, any family that gets to have her is very, very lucky.
