I offer Personal Companion services with FLAIR, in the St. Louis area as well as the Chicago area. Unlike many agencies, where they send out a person who basically just sits on their phone, making sure your loved one doesn't fall, I have a personality, engaging with your loved one, taking them on outings, entertaining them with activities, or simple errands with them such as grocery runs, nail/hair salon, etc. I offer transportation and companionship to doctor appointments, as well as taking notes during those appointments and sending those notes to family members. I also understand the loneliness felt in senior living communities, and offer companion visits (no minimum hours) just to let your loved one know they are not forgotten. Sometimes families cannot get there. I understand the dynamics between family members, and sometimes there are certain dynamics that constitute hiring out for caregiving.

Anne was a remarkable and attentive caregiver for my Mother. We hired her because it became too difficult for us to do on our own. Anne’s personality is perfect for seniors; knowing when they need conversation and knowing when they need quiet and comfort. She went above and beyond her typical duties and was always communicative with us after each visit. We’ve had other caregivers before but Anne was the best ever.
