After more than 22 years of caring for clients I have experience dealing with conditions such as Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, ALS, G-Tube, stroke, heart disease, prostate cancer, hip surgery, diabetic, as well as those needing Hospice care. I am trained in CPR and First Aid, proper lifting techniques, moving/transferring clients, and adhere to Universal Precautions to prevent the spread of infection and disease. From short-term post-surgery rehab, to longer term elder care, I treat all my clients with empathy, consideration and humor.. just as if they were a member of my own family.

When I needed some help recovering from a big surgery, I hired Anne Marie for a week. She was so warm and kind and a true pleasure to be around. She was on time, communicated well, kept track of my medications day and night, prepared meals, helped me in and out of bed, and she kept my place so neat and tidy. I don't even know if she slept all week! When I was down, or frustrated with pain, she was right there with an assist and she naturally lifted my spirits. I'm grateful for this angel of woman. Not so many people are as thoughtful or so genuinely big-hearted or as conscientious and fastidious about their work as she is. She should be the poster woman for care.com! :)
