About Annika

I've spent the last two years working closely with elderly patients, many of whom are living with dementia or receiving end-of-life care. It's intense and deeply meaningful work that has taught patience, presence, and how to meet people where they are, even when they can't express their needs clearly. Before that, I spent time nannying infants and toddlers, which gave me my first real experience in caregiving. In many ways, these roles aren't so different. Both require attentiveness, compassion, and a calm, grounded energy. I'm comfortable supporting people at both the beginning and end of life, and I take pride in creating a sense of safety and dignity no matter what stage they're in.
