About Ann Marie

I like caring for seniors because I feel as if I am providing a service to them, their families, and the community. I'm looking for a job that is project oriented, such as organizing, preparing for a move, or short term recovery that could possibly lead to something long term. In my twenties, I was an activities assistant and then director at a large assisted living community. I organized and led classes and outings. I took a break from the work force to raise children. Meanwhile, I have provided care to my mother-in-law and to aging parents. The last three years, I have worked part time for a senior woman. I walk her dog, help with groceries, do light housekeeping, organize home and garage, and provide transportation as well as companionship. I take my responsibility to your loved one very seriously. I believe in open communication with family as approved by my clients. It takes a village and we are all here to help and care for one another.
