About Anthea

It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Anthea “Ingrid”. She has been with our family for the past five years, caring for our two children from infancy through the start of their school years. She has been an extraordinary presence in our home — deeply loving, unfailingly reliable, and an integral part of our children’s growth and development. Ingrid has an exceptional ability to balance warmth and affection with just the right level of firmness — a quality that has been invaluable with our two strong-willed little ones. She is endlessly patient, thoughtful, and always interested in their development, whether that means encouraging good manners, supporting their curiosity, or helping them work through challenging moments with calm guidance. What sets Ingrid apart is her complete engagement. She has never once relied on television to pass the time — not a single day — except on the rare occasions she stays overnight when limited screen time is permitted. Her days with the children are filled with reading, imaginative play and outdoor time. She is also proactive and organized. Ingrid manages the children’s schedules seamlessly — from school activities and playdates to appointments — and always anticipates what’s needed before we even ask. She communicates clearly, keeps us informed, and takes ownership of every aspect of her role with a high level of professionalism. She is great at maintaining boundaries, as well. Ingrid has truly been part of our family, and we feel so fortunate to have had her in our children’s lives during these foundational years. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her — she brings her whole heart to her work and leaves a lasting, positive impact on everyone around her.
