Over the past 18 years, I was a Home Health Aide (assisting seniors with different levels of care in their homes), a Nurse Assistant (working in skilled nursing homes, providing long-term and rehabilitation [short-term] patient care), now an LPN for 7 years (currently working primarily in skilled nursing homes), and a first year RN Student. As an LPN I provide a wide range of personal and medical services. In a health care facility, I monitor patient's health and vital signs, administer medications, wound care treatments, patient and family teaching, and supervise and assign nursing assistants to provide personal care. In the home, I can provide either personal and/or medical care. I am cheerful, positive, and open minded. My hobbies are writing and building new Lego sets with my now, 18-year-old son!
