Hello! I am a 2nd grade teacher and college graduate with a Master's degree in Child and Adolescent Development. Prior to teaching 2nd grade, my experience includes three years in licensed child care facilities (ages 6 weeks to 12 years). I have babysat frequently since I was 15; this included care of multiple infants as well as toddlers/preschoolers. I have been responsible for up to 6 children at once including two infants. I have also worked for one year as a teacher at an after school program for k-5th grade. I was responsible for leading learning activities, games, sports, children's cooking, and science activities. I am professional, reliable and courteous. Although I am busy with my full time job, I am available on request for high quality babysitting. At this time I am not looking for families in need of a set schedule. I am looking for families that know they occasionally need a sitter.

Arielle worked for me during this past winter's flu season, which took down my husband and one of our sitters. She listed herself as "available for backup care" and she was able to come the very next morning. Arielle took great care of our son. She talked with him as they played together and generally kept him happy all morning. For the last two months, I have looked forward to her arrival. She also did a few chores while he slept, allowing me to do a few more and - amazingly enough - leave the house to go grocery shopping. We will miss her cheerfulness, patience and sense of responsibility. If she returns to the area, she definitely will have a sitting gig.
