As a dedicated tutor with three years of experience, I believe every student possesses unique potential. I strive to create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment. I actively listen to and observe students, encouraging open communication and seeking feedback through regular parental check-ins to adapt my teaching methods. I tutor Math, English, Study Skills, and History at the Elementary and Middle School levels. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples, celebrate small successes, and foster curiosity through interactive discussions. Communication builds trust, so I provide regular updates to parents and encourage open dialogue. I have a college degree and speak Spanish. The most rewarding aspect of tutoring is witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and seeing their confidence grow. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am comfortable with pets and available to tutor online, at a center, library, community center, school, or coffee shop.
