About Ashleigh

Over the last five years, I have worked as a nanny for the same family. When I started my youngest was entering 1st grade and I have worked with him up until now in all of his classes. Additionally, over the last year since COVID, I have been doing his homeschooling with him one on one. Through the years, he has improved greatly, especially in reading and writing which has always been a struggle for him. Additionally, I have worked with many other families and have assisted with school work with them as well. In regards to my own education, I am finishing up my bachelors degree from Penn State (which I do entirely online) and will be moving onto my masters in Educational Psychology. I feel very strongly about education and the importance it has on raising a well rounded child. I seek to create structure and responsibility, while making it fun and enticing to learn. Confidence is also a very important factor which I consistently try to instill in any child I am working with.
