I have been a caregiver for most of my life. I am the oldest of six kids and helped raised them. I have been a CNA for 13 years now. I started out working in a nursing home for three years, then moved onto a hospital for more experience in the health field. I then moved on to hospice, which I wasn't aware would be my calling. I became a caregiver after my Great Grandma had a massive stroke and ended up in a nursing home for long term care. After six months of being in the nursing home she passed away. After her passing I realized how much I wanted to become a caregiver and help patients and families that were going through the same thing I went through. My favorite part of being a caregiving is meeting all the different people that I take care of and building a trusting relationship with me.

Ashleigh consistently cares for my husband compassionately. She redirects him kindly and appropriately when necessary. He gives her eye contact when she enters his room and is happy to see her. Ashleigh is a very good housekeeper also when my husband is sleeping. I don't know how I would get all his laundry done without her help. I highly recommend Ashleigh for any caregiving role.
