About Ashley

Hi, I'm Ashley! I'm a bilingual Spanish, science, and English tutor with a background in dance and fitness. Growing up with a mom from Peru, I was raised speaking both English and Spanish, and I recently completed a minor in Spanish at the university level. I love helping students with grammar, writing, and conversational skills in both languages. I'm also a senior studying Exercise Physiology with a strong passion for biology. I enjoy breaking down challenging scientific concepts into simple, relatable terms and showing how science connects to everyday life. In English, I've taken years of advanced placement and college-level writing courses, and I'm skilled at helping students improve essays, reading comprehension, and communication. Beyond academics, I danced competitively for 7 years and am now a certified personal trainer and yoga instructor. I specialize in functional strength that supports both athletic performance and real-life movement.
