About Ashley

I'd describe my personality as Responsible, patient, and adaptable. I am dependable and always make sure kids are cared for and safe. I'm patient, which helps me handle challenging situations calmly. Lastly, I am adaptable to kids routines and their needs. I began working with kids professionally in 2023, and since then I have gained experience as a swim instructor with children ranging from 3-15 years old. That's helped me build patience, responsibility, and ability to keep children safe while still finding fun ways to make them learn. In my spare time, I like to stay active in my school community. I'm the president of two clubs, and I often volunteer through the National Art Honor Society. A lot of that work involves planning activities, being creative, and helping others, which I think really connects to working with kids because it requires patience, persistence, responsibility, and the ability to make learning fun.
