About Ashley

Hello! My name is Ashley, and I have a passion for working with children. I am a Retirement Specialist for the government, but my background includes experience in childcare. I previously worked as a nanny in a nanny share with a 2year old and an 18-month-old for over 3 years and still have a long standing relationship with the children and their families. I also served as a toddler teacher at Georgetown University for over a year. My love for childcare started early, my mother ran an in-home childcare center, which inspired me to follow in her footsteps. Over the past 10 years, I've worked with children from 6 months to 12 years old, including those with disabilities. These experiences have taught me patience and a variety of teaching strategies for each child's needs. I enjoy adding art and science projects into learning, as I believe children thrive when lessons are engaging and hands-on. I would be honored to bring my experience, creativity, and care into your children's lives.
