I've loved playing and being around dogs my whole life--I'm the person you can find playing with the dog at parties :) Although I've never had one of my own (parent was allergic growing up), I've always been around friends and family who are dog owners and even watched their dogs here and there. Being around dogs is incredibly fulfilling and their sweet and energetic energies make any day better! An example of an extended dog sitting experience happened a few years ago when my grandmother visited from abroad and brought her dog along who stayed at my house and I got to take care of her for several months. I live near Riverside Park and Central Park which are great for dog walking!
