About Ashley

Hi, I'm Ashley! I have over 10 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. I started babysitting in high school, caring for infants and toddlers, and later volunteered at my family's childcare center for foster youth in Tacoma. I also taught swim lessons for over four years, helping children of all ages feel confident in the water. Currently, I'm a second-year special education paraeducator, where I work closely with students to support their individual needs. I've also been a nanny, including helping a first grader with distance learning during COVID. These experiences have given me a lot of patience, creativity, and the ability to adapt to different children's personalities and needs. I am in my second year of my master's program in counseling, with the goal of continuing to support children and families in meaningful ways. I truly enjoy spending time with kids, whether that is playing games, reading, or simply making sure they feel safe and cared for.
