I had the honor to care for my grandmother diagnosed with dementia in the last 3 years of her life, providing in home care allowed her to live in her home for as long as possible and gave a better quality of life. Caring for others in the community, friends grandparents, and working in assisted living facilities in my teens paved way for seeing the importance in caring for seniors and their wellbeing.
