About Ashlyn

Hi!! I'm Ashlyn and I have been on Care. com since college (the first time around)!! I have my bachelors degree in health science with a minor in psychology and my bachelors degree in the science of nursing. I have tutored kids from elementary school all the way up to college level and I absolutely love to teach! I currently work as a pediatric nurse (so I do absolutely love kids) but I hope to one day be on the teaching side of my profession. I have student taught classes in school and have been commended by both students and my patient's families on my ability to teach critical ideas in simple terms. I look forward to meeting you soon! I'd describe my personality as positive, uplifting, and supportive I like tutoring because I enjoy teaching and finding new and creative ways to break down concepts I'm looking for a job that is flexible with my nursing hours as well as is a positive environment! In my spare time I like to read, play with my puppy, and go on runs
