I have 2 years of nurse aide experience in a nursing home, 4 years as a registered Home Care Aide caregiver in CA and a Certified Caregiver. I used to take care of Indian and Asian couples ages ranging from 80 to 90 diagnosed with Alzheimer's and Dementia/stroke with Foley catheter 24/7 for almost two years. I'm currently working part-time for an agency taking care of clients diagnosed with Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, and stroke patients who are incontinent and require bed care, clients who needs assistance bathing. I am married, a mother with two adolescent college children and would like to share my services taking care of the elderly with the last few years they have to life. I used to live in an extended family taking care of my elderly grandmother hence taking care of the elderly and empathy is part of my culture.
