About Audrey

Post-military career-changer pre-med with a 4. 0 in science classes. Prior to my military service I earned a B. A. in Comparative Religion from University of California with an emphasis in 20th century Middle East politics, religion, and culture. This course of study had significant overlap with anthropology, sociology, and contemporary philosophical movements. In the military I researched and wrote ethnographies with attention to demographic and social factors affecting regional stability, and qualified as a military linguist in Spanish, French, Arabic, and Mandarin Chinese. Currently I am changing direction in life and going back to school to pursue a second career as a physician. I also have experience teaching English as a foreign language, and additional training in journalistic writing. I am well-positioned to help high school and undergraduate students with biology, history, English, essay writing, and other coursework in the humanities.
