I was hired in the Spring of 2020 to clean Mr. Joe's house. That is when I met Autra. She was very helpful in showing me the ropes of what had to be done. The more I was there, the more I saw how compassionate, caring, and attentive she was to Mr. Joe. She cared for all his needs from bathing him to throwing him his first surprise birthday party for his 103-year-old birthday. Autra made Mr. Joe's house feel like a home. She decorated his house on holidays, out of pocket. She would also pay out of pocket for my cleaning expenses. I also observed Autra with Mr. Joe's family, I saw that they respected her and listened to her views. Autra loved Mr. Joe. She was there until he took his last breath at his bedside home, holding his hand as she had often reassured him she will be there until the end, upon request
