About Autumn

I have been a caretaker for my dad for 8+ yrs. He has akathisia, tardive dyskinesia, and dementia. I help him with tasks that include, but aren't limited to grocery shopping, meal prep, cleaning, dressing, nail clipping, wet wipe bathing, helping him stay on his schedule, driving to appointments, and things that are important to him, such as picking the stems out of apples and other little tasks to help ease how uncomfortable he is. I know how important it is to find someone who cares and who can meet the tiny, small and odd demands that caretaking requires with compassion and understanding. My degree is in psychology and neuroscience help aid in my understanding of different diagnoses as well as being able to stay grounded and connected to the client. I am also a Creative Healing, Neuroscience, and Yoga Practitioner so I can help the clients emotional wellbeing by holding a safe & supportive space while also helping them engage in therapeutic art & movement.
