About Autumn

Nurturing children's growth is a true passion of mine. As an Americorps Literary Intervention Specialist I've spent the last 11 months working closely with children ages 5-11, helping them develop their learning skills. My background in Early Childhood Education and Early Child Development coursework has provided me with a solid foundation. I am patient, calm, creative, and imaginative. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, educational games, and engaging in outdoor activities. I am comfortable caring for up to three children ages 2+. I typically communicate with parents at pickup, and I am happy to follow your preferred method. I follow your lead on household rules. I am also willing to help with light housekeeping and "field trip" supervision. I find immense joy in helping children learn and explore the world around them, and I hope to one day be a children's author.
