About Ava

Hi! I'm Ava, a creative and energetic 21-year-old with a passion for childcare. I'll be starting pharmacy school next fall(2026), and for the past few years I've had the joy of working as a nanny, which I truly love. I've cared for children of all ages, though I especially enjoy supporting infants and school-aged kids. I've had the privilege of working with five wonderful families, including one for two years, another for six months, and three in seasonal positions over the past few summers. I am CPR certified, trained in first aid including infant and child care, and have my own reliable car. My rate begins at $20 per hour for one child, though I am flexible. I focus on creating a safe, structured, and imaginative environment where children can thrive. I love planning seasonal crafts, baking, encouraging independence, pretend play, and organizing fun outings when appropriate. Outside of childcare, I enjoy reading, writing poetry, volunteering, and being outdoors!
