About Ava

Hi! My name is Ava, and I'm a 20-year-old human resources student at Washington State University Vancouver. I've been babysitting for over 10 years and have about 8 years of paid childcare experience. I've taken child development classes and have worked with kids ranging from 3 months old to 15 years old, with lots of experience caring for infants and toddlers. I genuinely love working with young children and try to be very present and engaged. I enjoy reading, singing, playing, going on walks, and keeping care screen-free. I'm patient, dependable, and comfortable keeping up with active little ones, including handling feeding, diaper changes, naps, and daily routines. I'm CPR/First Aid trained, a non-smoker, have reliable transportation, and I'm comfortable with pets. I also have multiple references who would be happy to vouch for me. I'm more than happy to help with housework as well, including baby laundry, light cleaning, organizing, and keeping baby areas tidy.
