About Avery

Caring for children has always been a true passion of mine. From a young age, I've felt naturally drawn to working with kids, and over the years, I've been grateful to turn that passion into a fulfilling career. I have over five years of hands-on experience with children ranging from newborns to 11 years old, with a focus on toddlers. This September will mark my third year as a substitute teacher at PV Elementary School, where I've had the joy of supporting students and teachers while working toward my degree in education. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time and always strive to create a nurturing, patient, and positive environment. I make it a point to follow each family's household routines and communication style. I'm trained in First Aid, have completed Early Childhood Development coursework, and bring practical skills like cooking, light housekeeping, and newborn care.
