About Ayanna

Hi, my name is Ayanna, and I am a compassionate, dependable senior caregiver and a proud graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), with a degree in Management of Aging Services. I am deeply passionate about supporting older adults with dignity, patience, and respect. Through my college education, I gained a strong understanding of aging, chronic conditions, dementia awareness, care coordination, and the importance of person-centered care. My coursework strengthened my ability to support seniors not only physically, but emotionally and socially, helping to reduce isolation and improve overall quality of life. I have hands-on experience assisting seniors with daily activities, including companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, errands, appointment support, and maintaining daily routines. I am attentive, observant, and calm, and I understand how important consistency and trust are in senior care.
