I like tutoring because even though I have left the teaching field (I was a teacher for 4 years) I still deeply love working with children and helping them achieve their educational goals. I'm looking for a job that can be flexible as I am currently in nursing school. But I am pretty flexible as well! I started tutoring when I was in college. I tutored elementary, middle school, high school, and college students. I have also worked as a nanny and offered tutoring services to those families. In my spare time, I like to bake, go hiking with my husband and dog, and go fishing! One thing you should know about me is I graduated from Duke University in North Carolina. I have years of experience working with children in various settings. I nannied, was a tutor, an after school camp counselor, and also taught elementary and middle school math and science for 4 years. My skills include math/science topics (all levels), study skills, and test prep.
