I assisted with the care of my mother for 5 years after a stroke. I was very committed to keeping her in her own home where she felt safe and was happy. I have also assisted several senior friends/family members with rides, cleaning, down-sizing, etc. I previously worked as a Home Health Aide for a senior care co. for 2 years. My first job through Care. com was for a senior client for 2 years to get her finances and taxes up-to-date. Her family has requested my help since her passing in Feb. 2024. I currently work for one senior client starting Aug. 2022 to present. She is now been placed in an assisted living and my hours have been reduced. I truly enjoy my clients and I'm able to run errands such as shopping, picking up medications, providing transportation, as well as other tasks. I am very comfortable taking care of pets, doing light housekeeping, fixing meals, as well as providing companionship. I'm good with organizing and down-sizing.
