About Barbara

I appreciate Barbra for coming to help with my family member. However I want to share some feedback, as there were several concerns that I feel need to be addressed. While I appreciate that she provided food and drink, the overall level of care was not what I was expecting. Some specific issues included:     •    Dirty rags from bathing were left in the kichen sink     •    A urinal was left unwashed and still containing urine     •    The floor was not cleaned and had urine on it     •    There seemed to be a general lack of initiative throughout the day     •    The frequent complaints created an uncomfortable atmosphere Caring for someone who is hemiplegic requires attention, hygiene, and compassion. It’s essential that the environment remains clean and that the person receiving care feels respected and safe. Unfortunately, that standard wasn’t met during your visit. I’m not sharing this to criticize personally, but to be honest about what I observed so that you can reflect and become a better care giver.
