About Barbara

Hi there, My name is Barbi. So far I worked for a few really nice families in Long Island and 1 in Connecticut. The ages of the children I cared for were 2 weeks - 14 years old. I got them ready for school, picked them up from school, took them to the library, arranged play dates, assisted with homework, prepared breakfast, packed lunch and helped with dinner. While the kids were at school, I did their laundry, organized their closets and playrooms. I also ran errands occasionally. During these 15 + years, I also worked with special needs kids, such as kids with allergies, asthma, ADHD, Autism. I'm easy to get along with and children usually feel comfortable around me very quickly. I'm very organized and like to keep everything clean. From my experience, I understand how hard it is for working parents to manage a career, raise children, and keep their house in order. I don't smoke or drink. I drive and I have my car to get to work. I'm CPR and first aid certified.
